High School Workshops

Invite a Legal Professional to Your Class

Éducaloi matches high schools with volunteer legal professionals who offer free introductory law workshops to students. Interactive and ready-to-go, our workshops help students learn about the law and help teachers meet requirements of the Quebec Education Program.

There are currently six different workshops in English and seven in French. Click on this link to learn more:

Description of Workshops

Requirements for the program:

  • You must be the teacher or other person in charge of a class (all secondary levels and both public and private schools are welcome).
  • You must make a request on behalf of one or more high school classes. You can fill out a single request for a maximum of three consecutive classes, provided it is for the same workshop. If you want the same workshop for more than three consecutive classes, simply fill out an additional request.
  • You must specify the date(s) and time(s) for the visit(s), giving us at least eight weeks' advance notice to match your school with a volunteer.

Éducaloi believes that the legal and citizenship education of Quebec youth is not just the responsibility of schools: it is everyone’s responsibility. This is why Éducaloi relies on the collaboration of volunteer legal professionals to carry out its mission of informing and educating young people. Please join us!
