Automatic shared custody

When parents separate and they don’t agree on the custody of their children, a judge decides on who gets custody. Before making a decision, the judge will evaluate which type of custody is in the best interests of each child.
Some people think that this system needs to be replaced by automatic shared custody. What do you think?
