Have your say on
Rent control and the Régie du logement
2005-06-22
The Régie du logement (Rental Board) limits the annual rent increases that landlords can claim from their tenants.
Each year, the Régie sets certain guidelines for rent increases according to the type of heating in a building. Also, the Régie uses certain rules to determine the amount that each tenant should pay for any increases in the landlord's expenses.
Are you in favour of the Régie du logement placing restrictions on rent increases?
