Canada Revenue Agency’s Training Sessions for Registered Charities

We offered our last webinar for directors of registered charities on March 5, 2012. For the moment, we are not offering any more webinars.

However, the Charities Directorate of the Canada Revenue Agency offers free information sessions. They are taking place in Montreal on May 14 and 15, and in Quebec City on May 17.

The following topics will be covered:
  • donations and receipts
  • donations to other organizations
  • maintaining direction and control of resources
  • keeping books and records
  • filing the Registered Charity Information Return (form T3010)
  • Canada Revenue Agency’s revised fundraising guidelines
  • presentations by provincial authorities (in some cities)
