Are you a social worker, teacher, community organizer, clergy member or other service provider? Have you counselled someone experiencing family violence?
Our toolkit and workshops explain legal issues that come up in family violence situations: the powers of youth protection agencies, parenting arrangements, the role of the police, the court process, etc.
The toolkit and workshops are a joint effort between Éducaloi and the Community Health and Social Services Network (CHSSN). The CHSSN works to ensure access to health and social services for English-speaking Quebecers.
Designed for English-speaking communities in Quebec, the toolkit and workshops are in English.
About the Toolkit
A practical guide for service providers, it has legal information, diagrams, a list of useful resources and suggested questions service providers can ask to identify legal issues.
The second edition of the toolkit came out in January 2012. Make sure you have the most recent version.
