Administrative Tribunal of Québec

The Administrative Tribunal of Québec was created in order to promote access to administrative justice, as well as to improve its effectiveness and efficiency. More concretely, it is the place where a person unsatisfied with a decision made within the public administration–by ministries, boards (régies), commissions, municipalities, etc–can make a complaint. The Tribunal is divided into four divisions: Social Affairs, Immoveable Property, Economic Affairs, and Territory and Environment. To be subject to review, the decision being challenged must have been made under the authority of a law that specifically provides for a recourse to the Administrative Tribunal of Québec.

A more detailed description of the Administrative Tribunal of Québec, as well as a virtual courtroom, will be offered on Côtécour at a later date. Éducaloi is presently looking for new financial partners to help complete Côtécour.
